If you are unable to return to Dubai or any other GCC countries to settle your personal debts – including loans, mortgages, and credit cards in your name – you can legally appoint an individual to:
I. Make the repayments to the bank on your behalf for the full amount due; or
II. Enter into negotiations with the bank to settle the outstanding balances for a percentage of the full amount due.
Once your personal debts are fully repaid or settled, the bank will issue a clearance to remove your name from police blacklist and/or Interpol list if they have already filed criminal complaints against you with local and / or international authorities.
It is essential to seek professional legal advice for solutions tailored to your unique situation.
I am seeking legal advise for a credit card settlement with Emirates NBD. In June, 2013 I had a debt of Dhs. 28,000/- and collection agent of the bank agreed to settle the debt by paying Dhs. 7500/- which I did. After this I received credit card statement from the bank showing my balance was cleared, but did not get any police clearance letter.
However, after 1 month when I travelled to Abudhabi, I was detained at the airport as the bank had taken legal measures and I had to pay Dhs. 13,500/- at the airport as settlement of the case. I used to travel to Abudhabi since then regularly without any hassles. However from Novebmer 2014 onwards, the airport authority detain me for hours on the same case and since I show them the receipt of payment of 13,500/- which was made at the airport, they release me but all this takes around 2-3 hours time at the airport. Last month I went to bank and checked with them and they told me there is no case against me.
Please advise how I can clear this issue and settle this case from the immigration system.
Hi I have a friend who wants to settle his dues in Dubai but doesn’t know how much he has and or with who all. He remembers few names of a Banks but not sure how much he owes them. Recently he had applied for a police clearance from UAW police but that got refused. HE thinks it maybe because of a few outstanding he had during his stay there before recession.
Can you help him close the loans (wherever applicable) and get a PC?

I returned from Dubai, UAE in 2007 due to some personal reasons and had a loan and credit card from Mashreq Bank Dubai. Total balance acknowledged by the bank as of today is AED 23,000 (Twenty Three Thousand).
I am ready to pay/settle the loan at a negotiated amount but I am not sure how will I ensure that my name has been cleared in the police record and case of bounced security check has been dropped. If I travel to dubai, they might detain me at the airport so I want to be sure that my name has been cleared and that I will have no problem travelling to Dubai, UAE.
Kindly advise me as to how to proceed. Also tell me your professional fee for making sure that my name is cleared in police and all cases dropped.

During July 2015, i have left UAE after cancelling my visa and came to Oman. Currently i am in Oman. Due to financial issues, i can’t able to clear the credit cards of some banks (Mashreq bank & Dunia). Since, the banks aware that i am not in UAE, they are now calling my home country and started harassing them for the payments. They also started calling me to my Oman number. I am trying to negotiate for settlement, but they are asking for double the credit card limit amount. Please advise me on this.
